The Avocado Hybrid 11" Organic Mattress features GOLS-certified organic latex, GOTS-certified organic wool and cotton, and up to 1,000 individually wrapped support coils. No polyurethane foams or fire retardants. Needle-tufted by hand and assembled in Los Angeles with domestic and imported materials.

ORGANIC LATEX
Instead of polyurethane foams, Avocado mattresses feature GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex (CU 863637) rubber foam from sustainably harvested from our facilities in India and Guatemala.
ORGANIC WOOL
Our GOTS-certified organic wool (CU 863637) does what other materials cannot — it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It’s also anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control to help you sleep cool.
ORGANIC COTTON
Our luxurious, button-tufted mattress covers are made with breathable GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU 863637) — one of the softest and most comfortable fabrics. Organic cotton is cool, wicks away moisture, and, better still, is more sustainable than conventional cotton.

No chemical adhesives are used to bind the layers together for luxury and improved durability.
NATURALLY COOL
Mother Nature knows best. Wool keeps you cool and dry in summer and warm in winter. Latex features an open-cell structure that keeps you from sinking in and trapping heat. Body contouring coils are individually wrapped for effective airflow. Don’t sweat a thing!
ABSORBS MOTION TRANSFER
Latex is wonderfully buoyant. When combined with our best-in-class support system, motion doesn’t transfer across the mattress, even when your partner gets in and out of bed. No more sleep interruptions.
NO FIRE RETARDANTS
We do not use chemical flame retardants, synthetic fire socks, or fiberglass
HEAVY DUTY HANDLES
Rotating or adjusting your mattress is hassle-free, with four upholstered handles adorning the mattress.
UP TO 1,000 COILS
Our superior ergonomic support and durability comes from our innerspring unit, a patent-pending design we make ourselves. It features up to 1,000 steel coils, individually encased in fabric pockets and arranged in multiple gauges.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC
Our Hybrid Organic Mattress is certified to organic standards set by GOTS, which is recognized under the USDA's National Organic Program. This is a higher standard than "natural." It ensures organic farming practices, limits on non-organic substances, ethical business practices, and fair treatment of workers.

Our OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification applies to the entire mattress, not just the cover or latex. This means that every component of our organic mattress has been lab-tested for harmful levels of toxic substances.
